Ayurvedic Medicine
Ayurvedic medicine can enrich our lives. Humans share an evolutionary heritage with all other species, we are woven into the fabric of life. Therefore, we do not exist outside of the domain of nature, it is important to remember our physiology is a living, dynamic sphere. In addition, the eternal cosmic spark resides inside all of us, thus, living in an ailing or suffering body compares to living in a home with dirty windows. When your experience is obstructed by physical, mental, or emotional stress, it is hard to endure the sea of change in life. Additionally, the full cosmic spectrum of light cannot illuminate a vessel it cannot penetrate, and vice versa.
In my experience when we start to develop a connection to ourselves and our consciousness we begin to understand that our own physiology is a microcosmic reflection of the macrocosm. I am a lifelong resident of Florida, my education in medicinal and edible plants began at an early age. My formal education came later when I studied and gained certification in herbalism from a Florida school for holistic living. I was educated in depth about the anatomy, chemistry, and cultivation of healing and beneficial plants, along with the medicinal qualities and formulations of over 200 herbs. I have a Master of Science degree in AyurVedic and Integrative Medicine, and I am currently earning a second graduate degree in Human Potential and Consciousness from Maharishi International University. .
Virtual or in-person AyurVedic Consultation will include assessment of both Prakriti (dosha/s, nature) and Vikriti (imbalance), and a complete AyurVedic Nutrition protocol.
Consultations and dietary plans can also address digestive issues, aging, anxiety, depression, blood pressure, cholesterol, etc.
